Biography

From acting in the big apple to music city

Woody Bradshaw majored in theatre and was accepted into the renowned BFA program at FSU. Once he finished, he set his sights on New York City, where he quickly landed a role on an ABC daytime drama. Shortly thereafter he caught the eye of notable manager Jerry Silverhardt, who discovered and managed Tom Cruise.

After two years in New York, Woody relocated to Los Angeles to pursue film, landing national commercials and television spots. It was there he learned his childhood musical influence, Jimmy Webb, would be playing at the Roosevelt Hotel — a life-changing moment. Woody placed a hold on acting to put his heart and soul into music and songwriting, moving to his current hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, where he felt the city fit the soul of his music.

After a lot of writing, co-writing and playing around town, the buzz started and Bradshaw signed his first record deal. He quickly hit the charts as a national recording artist and was named one of Clear Channel’s Top Ten Artists to Watch (alongside Luke Bryan). He has opened for acts such as Styx, Darryl Singletary and Trent Tomlinson, and once wowed a crowd of 45,000 at Lancaster’s Fallfest.

Described as “lightning in a bottle” for his energetic and explosive style, his shows are a combination of rockstar with a Nashville influence — and soul-stirring balladeer. “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life,” says Bradshaw. “Now I just want to find the right home as an artist, where I can get the best support to help me share my music with the world.”

Who’s Proud They’re From The USA

Who’s Proud They’re From the USA” came about more organically than any other song I’ve ever written. I have never served but have always been very patriotic, loved America’s history, and the older I’ve gotten the more I appreciate what this country stands for; what sets us apart from other countries and the freedoms we have that make us the most amazing Country!

“In the last 6 years, I’ve witnessed much more of a divide and been saddened and shocked at the wave of anti American sentiment. So let’s just say, I knew what I wanted to write about and man, it poured out of me like a wrench opening up a rusty faucet. I definitely believe the inspiration given to me was Devine! This song isn’t meant to be partisan; I really want it to unite us as a nation. All I know is that it’s the biggest thing I’ve ever written…meaning, it’s bigger than me and my artistry. The initial momentum has been amazing and my hope is that “Who’s Proud” will stir a movement from Sea to Shining Sea and become an anthem for the ages and inspire future generations of Patriots!
